I don't see 4.0.1c on TiVo's list of 'latest software versions' ?
Has anyone played w/4.0.1c? Is it simply 4.0.1b with some different USB drivers? If so, I'm assuming that the superpatch and various hacks should still work against tivoapp?
Thanks,
Doc

Looks like OP is correct, purpose is to support an additional wireless ethernet adapter.
A new software version to support ONLY the D-Link DWL-120 ver. F
There must be thousands of people with this specific Wi-Fi adapter![]()

And I wonder, if it supports this adapter, are there others using this chipset that this would help.

I doubt it's a new software version, probably just an updated driver with a new version number so it's easier to verify that the driver was upgraded. Probably makes no sense to roll out a new version when the only major change is an updated driver.Originally Posted by montano
It looks like most of the current wireless adaptors DON'T support linux including almost all of the cheaper adapters. There may not be thousands of people with that adapter but if they don't update the driver than NONE OF THE CURRENT D-Link adapters will work. Look at the link, the newer Netgear ans some of the newer Linksys adapters are no longer supported.
FYI, Fry's (at least the Plano location) carries lots of refurbed Netgear stuff. I have the MA111 and it cost me a whopping $15. And it works![]()

I use the WUSB11 and it works excellent for MRV.
