Some Rules to keep in mind.

Hello Everyone, I know I haven't been posting for long time, but I been reading here and there ALL the time.
As you all know this in uncensored TiVo forum.

However keep in mind, hacking TiVo is not illegal but hacking DTV or any other means of receiving free TV is illegal.

I have no problems with use guys talking about emulators and such, but please do not post details on how to set up an emulator, programing cards or anything related to DTV itself.

I just don't want to have any problems with DTV.

As of May 11, 2002 this RULE IS GONE! (The one below about the IRC channel)

When there will be irc channel it will be hosted by dealdatabase and not on dalnet or efnet.
I really don't like advertising of irc channels.

Maybe I am not allowed to post any rules here.. and you can certainly delete this, but...

2 rules come to mind that should be followed by any board.

1. Everyone is required to read the stickys before asking questions and a do a search on their question FIRST.

2. Everyone who knows the answer to a 'stupid' or 'newbie' question should just post the answer or link to that answer and refrain from being an a**hole and posting "read first *****" and other flames.
