what is the deail with brothers grimm

I taped it off of ppv and have never seen such a huge .tmf file from a 2 hour movie.. and no I am not using high def.. this on a series 2 dsr704.. any ideas what the hell is taking up so much space.. it won't even fint on 1 single layer dvd..

Sometimes PPV and premium services are not subjected to the same amount of compression, thus you get a high bit rate. Probably has Dolby Digital sound as well and maybe in more than one language (although these don't add nearly so much as the low compression.
