    HR20-700 Video Extraction possible?

    I know this might be too early for it, but has someone that has an HR20-700 actually tried to extract video via the USB or Ethernet ports? Or maybe tried to read the files on an eSata drive?

    I figure it's not too early now- has any progress been made towards this end? It would seem that there is a lot more that is known now about this unit.

    EDit: it looks like from some more recent threads, the answer is still no.

    The only thing Ive seen is a post at DBStalk on how you can pull the drive and copy the contents to a new larger one, including recordings, etc. Apparently the recordings are on a Raw partition and you cant read the files. They would be encrypted too Im sure.
