Sorry, I missed it. So if I go ahead and pay it now, I will still make it right? The only problem I have now is that my wife throw away my tivo box, so I don't have the original box to ship it to you. I will have to use some other box. Will that be a problem?

No worries! Just make sure the box you select meets the following conditions:
1. It's not larger than the original TiVo box.
2. It will be strong enough to withstand two trips.
3. Packing peanuts aren't used.
That's it!
Also, make sure to remove any CableCARD's and if possible, the hard drive.

Having been recently handed a used TCD540 (service number starting with 540) and already the happy owner of two tinkered D*TiVos, I'm wondering if Omikron isn't willing to part with a DIY kit myself. The first post seems to indicate otherwise, but hoping... Little sister went HD and has no use for it, I'd like to add it to the MRV pile.
Not to worry, factory trained service tech for (insert major name brand of choice here) consumer electronics, I know which end of the iron not to pick up from, and the wonderful world of SMC.
