    try again, but put it in a code block, or even better: post it as an attachment.

    That doesn't look like the full log (no startup info)

    IM me if you can

    p.s. Have you tried a full restart?

    I tried to IM you. I am Soapm on AOL IM and Soapm777 on Yahoo. I will wipe the logs then restart TWP in a bit. Wife is nagging... Why now

    Internal Server Error - After last update

    I updated to the latest version on Saturday, and now get the following when trying to connect via the browser:

    INTERNAL SERVER ERROR
    --cut here--
    NONE
    can't read "t": no such variable
    while executing
    "if {$toy < $t+86400*((73-($ddoy+$y+$leaps))%7)} break"
    (procedure "get_tzoffset" line 13)
    invoked from within
    "get_tzoffset $time"
    (procedure "ftime" line 2)
    invoked from within
    "ftime [clock seconds] "%d/%b/%Y %T""
    (procedure "log_addr" line 2)
    invoked from within
    "log_addr $addr "Requesting Authentication""
    (procedure "doSession" line 95)
    invoked from within
    "doSession $chan $addr $port"
    --cut here--

    Is there any 'quick fix' for this ?

    Thanks
    Daniel

    what version did you upgrade from?
    Did you do a "FULL RESTART" after upgrading?
    Are there any suspicious messages in the log file?

    I upgraded to "tivowebplus-v2.1.b2-071214" from what I believe was the previous version.

    I couldn't get back in after installing, but have tried a full restart of the box.

    Which log file should I be looking at ?

    Thanks
    Daniel

    I'm getting exactly the same error as djb2002.

    I tried upgrading from an old verion of 2.0.0 to 'tivowebplus-v2.1.b2-071217a'. Even tried a power off-on but still the same.

    I'm running a UK Tivo (s1) v2.5.5.

    If you have any trouble with the Update service (which is changing all the time with v2.1) then you should revert back to the manual approach which is outlined on the download page:

    1. Stop any running TivoWeb service (using the Restart->Quit option)
    2. cd /var/hack
    3. mv TivoWebPlus TWP-old
    4. tar xvzf tivowebplus-v2.1.b2-080103.tgz
    5. cd TivoWebPlus
    6. ./tivoweb

    If you do not have the "tar" command available, then you could try "gzip -d tivowebplus-xxxxxx.tgz; cpio -idu -H tar < tivowebplus-xxxxxx.tar"

    Please note that there may be a problem with the latest beta (080104) and v2.5.5, give it a try but if you have problems then try 080103 until the next distribution is released.

    Problem in "To Do List", "Cancel Recordings"

    Running 080104 on DTiVo 6.2

    After selecting about 10 recordings from the "To Do List", and then clicking on "Cancel Recordings" I get:

    Code:
    -------INTERNAL SERVER ERROR------  --cut here--action:confirm, path:/todo, env:fsida(2046773) on fsida(2046771) on fsida(2031490) on fsida(2026911) on fsida(2031491) on fsida(2038994) on fsida(2043360) on fsida(2046783) on fsida(2043359) on fsida(2043344) on fsida(2038982) on fsida(2046775) on fsida(2031484) on fsida(2043346) on submit CancelRecordings u2 btodo noheader 0, code:'NONE'

        ("uplevel" body line 3)
        invoked from: "uplevel $body"
        invoked from: "transaction {

    while {$i<$blen} {
    foreach $vars [lrange $batch $i [expr $i+$vsiz]] break
    if [set code [catch {uplevel $body} errs]] {
    if {$c..."
        (procedure "ForeachTrans" line 1)
        invoked from: "ForeachTrans val $vals $bsize {
    recInit -pre $preload [lindex $val 0]
    if ![recFilter $filt] {
    if {[set ret [recInit_$cmd $val $opts]]==2} continue
    if ..."
        (procedure "putRecRows" line 8)
        invoked from: "putRecRows $chan $fmt Show [array names fsida]"
        (procedure "MOD::action_confirm" line 8)
        invoked from: "$cmd $chan $path $env"
    --cut here--
    And the same error on "To Do 2". I much prefer the format of "To Do 2" - a lot easier and more accurate to pick out recordings to delete!!

    John

    Thanks for the advise. Indeed the 080104 did not work on my UK s1. Lots of errors on startup. So I tried 080103 as suggested. This loads OK, but gives exactly the same error as 071217a did from the web browser when I try to access TivoWeb.

    Code:
    INTERNAL SERVER ERROR
    --cut here--
    NONE
    can't read "t": no such variable
        while executing
    "if {$toy < $t+86400*((73-($ddoy+$y+$leaps))%7)} break"
        (procedure "get_tzoffset" line 13)
        invoked from within
    "get_tzoffset $time"
        (procedure "ftime" line 2)
        invoked from within
    "ftime [clock seconds] "%d/%b/%Y %T""
        (procedure "log_addr" line 2)
        invoked from within
    "log_addr $addr $path"
        (procedure "doSession" line 100)
        invoked from within
    "doSession $chan $addr $port"
    --cut here--
    Any more suggestions?

    For those having trouble with CancelRecordings, around line 422 of libs/rec.itcl, change
    Code:
      if !$f {return 0}
    to
    Code:
      if {$f=="" || !$f} {return 0}

    Thanx... todo2 is an interim page while I migrate the todo/suggestions/pending pages to the rowformat framework... as such, you can have a lot of control over how they're laid out by editing the format string.

    most of my pages are laid out that way... putting title/desc as the last item (because of all the whitespace), and the checkbox just to the left of it (since you're usually marking recordings based on the contents of title/desc). It's nice to hear at least one person agrees with my choice on that.

    BTW, did you notice the Orig. Air column? It bolds when the recording is within a week of its airdate (thus, new). It's been in the format a long time, but I haven't heard any feedback.

    Try an upgrade/clean install of 080105 and it should work. (fingers crossed)

    I had not noticed this! Right now, in the US, there are not a lot of new shows, plus BBC America seems to have run out of money and is 99% re-runs of junk.

    I find that I spend most of my time coming in via UI / SPs, and then selecting a show. Typically the show may be on multiple channels and may have multiple seasons airing at once. I use the sort on Episode Number for both Now Playing and Upcoming to figure out what I want (of course, DTV often has incorrect Episode Numbers, so you may have to check against another source, like IMDb).

    Thanks again for a great application!
