    setting a user/pass for mfs_ftp ?

My mfs_ftp does not have a username or password - I simply ftp to 3105 and am automatically logged in.

Unfortunately, konqueror refuses to interact with an ftp server with no username and password.

    So, how can I set a user/pass for mfs_ftp ?

    Thanks.

The simple answer is to not use konqueror!

With that said I swear MFS_FTP asks for one...
    01:59:54:PM - 220 Mfs_Ftp ver 1.2.9p - {sock18} from "1.2.3.4:1545"
01:59:54:PM - 331 User name okay, need password.
    01:59:54:PM - 230 Running in TiVo Mode.
    01:59:54:PM - 200 Type set to I
    01:59:54:PM - 215 UNIX
    01:59:54:PM - 250 Directory change successful.
You screen doesnt look like that?

    My login session looks like:

    #ftp 192.168.0.11 3105
    Connected to 192.168.0.11.
    220 Mfs_Ftp ver 1.2.9p-patchlevel-20080512 - {sock24} from "192.168.0.2:50609"
    Name (192.168.0.11:root):
331 User name okay, need password.
    Password:
    230 Running in TiVo Mode.
    Remote system type is UNIX.
    ftp>
    ftp>

Note: I just hit enter for both username and password prompts.

Basically I just need to know where the (python ?) configuration file is for mfs_ftp - I can probably figure it out from there ... although throwing me a bone with the actual config lines to look for/change would be much appreciated

The configuration options are inside the script itself. Look at all the "set info" lines at the start. If your initial diagnoses is accurate I think you will need to switch to another FTP client. I could be wrong and a version of MFS_FTP exists with authentication, I'm using a very old version.
