    Old Tivo Dvr for Gameplay

We recently switched over to charter cable and now have on old DirectTv Tivo DVR just collecting dust. What I want to know is, is there any way I can use the DVR to hook up to my Xbox 360 to record gameplay? I know there's other ways to record gameplay, but it would be so much easier to just use this DVR. Any suggestions?

Not on a D-TiVo, It has no video encoders or inputs.

Only Series 1 or 2 Standalones have the inputs you need. Most Series 2 and the very late Series 1s need subscription also.

I didn't even know you could do that with the Series 1/2. Sweet!
