    Reuse Tivo Hardware

    I have a Series 1 and a Series 2 that I no longer use.
I was wondering, has anyone replaced the hard drive and reused
the Tivo hardware for another use?

Something other than a DVR. I know the processor and RAM are pretty
limited, but could you perhaps put UnRaid on it, or some other OS??

Would enjoy hearing what others have done.

You should also be able to use the unsubbed S1 as a "dumb" VCR (no guide data, manually set up recordings by time/channel).
