I too was hoping to see the new directivo renew interest.
Is it me, or did this place kinda die as far as DTV stuff?
I'm hoping that the new model might breathe some life back?
I just ordered 2, they come Friday. Is there anybody out there?

Where'd Tivostuff.com go anyway?

Since the new HD DirecTiVo runs on the HR21 hardware, even if it places the OS on the hard drive it's likely to be pretty much unhackable.

There's a difference between needing help, and just being plain ole' lazy.

HR20-700 with 2 TB, HR22-100, HR22-100, HR22-100, HR23-100 all running 0x5cd and networked.
I have seen no evidence that DirecTV's HRxx series have been hacked at all. There has been some poking at the THR22 but nothing to suggest it would be any easier to hack.

See that, I go away for a measly 7 years and everything goes to crap. LOL
BubbaJ where are you when I need you?
**SIGH**

Hey guys... long time no see.... Yeah, I miss the ole days, too. <sigh>
If a goldfish should want a vacation, who would know?
The new DirecTiVo is a disappointment to many. I've had one for a year and even my wife, a big fan of the TiVo UI, is disenchanted. I have an HR44 arriving tomorrow and my hope is that I can wean her away from the THR22. (The HR21 is definitely being replaced.)

Any plans on opening up your Genie?
