    Thumbs up Someone know how to rec on the tivo HUGHES GXCEB0T???

    Hi... Im already able to pause movies, view guide and ALL!!! i only need to know how to rec the movies.. If i need to download a software or something plz give me a URL or explain me how to rec without the phone line .... Im know alot of directv (H and HU) but im newbie on tivo so Plz help me!!! tnx.... if i dont find a solution im goin to pay 300 dollars for an open one if someone help me i will donate 250 dollars!!! sounds better

    Ok, look, whats the first thing people always tell the newbies on their first post?????

    READ the group, then read it again, then ask questions on SPECIFIC parts you are stuck on.

    Odd's are, if you say you are as versed in DTV h cards and stuff you won't have a problem with any of this stuff here too.

    I read your post three times to be sure I wasnt missing anything, and the only answer I can give to your question is "PUSH THE RECORD BUTTON".

    THE PROBLEM IS NOT TO PUSH REC BOTTON THE PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN I PUSH IT IT SAY THAT HAVE TO MAKE A CALL AND I CANT THAT WAY

    99% error

    I already create the 25xtreme and it begins ok but on the 99% it crash.... why???? what i make incorrect??? TNX

    This a known issue.

    Just dissregard the error put it in your TiVo and start watching TiVo.

    I would normally tell you to search for your answer since it is clearly described in several other threads.

    But search has been temp dissabled.

    So you got a break.

    Ok I need some more help plz.... I put the HD in my tivo like it was (99% error) but surprise it work, I get the movies and all but.. i cant rec! when I try to rec it say that it dosent make a sucesfull call in 30 days, I was reading alot and I find the word touch and the word lifetime tivo, but how i do that? I hear about a aplication to hack it named fixup02c.zip I tink is the solution but 3 questions:

    1- Where I can get it?

    2- How I put it?

    3- Can I put it without com cable? doing all in my computer? because I dont understand how to make the cable and I am from Mexico no oportunity to ask for it to tivo page...


    I will very TNXS for any can help me, I tink iam at 1 step to hack it but i need help and a little of your colaboration....

    REALLY TNXS ALOT FOR EVERYBODY THAT HELP ME WITH THIS...
