    Series 2

    I have picked up a Series 2 40 gig. When I look in the system it says I have the level 5 lifetime service. Now I do not have the wifi that they sell for tivo's and I do not have a phone line. I would like to just be able to set up the box manually even but the time is wrong on the Tivo. Any idea's how to fix this?

    You will need either a TiVo network adapter or a phone line. It's not usable without either of these. There is no manual setup available.

    Check Craigslist for someone selling the TiVo brand Wireless G adapter cheap ($10 to $20) if you have a wireless router.

    It's a good piece of gear.
    Too busy TiVo wrangling to watch television anymore.
