I am working with one of the forum members to get his TiVo hacked, but we have run into a little snag. His old drive is 1T, and his new drive is 2T. The issue is that the version of pdisk we have can only partition up to 1T, and with the expanded Linux partitions on the new drive, we can't add the last MFS partition with a full image. Of course, we can specify a little bit smaller partition and copy most of the MFS image from the first drive, but a few hundred megs get cut off. Is there a version of pdisk out there that will allow us to extend the last partition beyond the 1T boundary? If not, will a kickstart detect the truncated partition and fix it? Will a truncated WinMFS copy fix the last MFS media region? If none of these will work, is there another option?
